Missing Portfolios ENG 1301/1320

I am missing the following portfolio's:

Contreras, Sergio Guerrero, Jazmine Renee Leal, Dagoberto Martinez, Nathally Anzaldua, Gilberto Benavides, Manuel Steven Portales, Ilse Rodriguez, Drenna You have untill tomorrow morning to turn them in, no later than 12PM.  Grades will be submitted at that time.

DEADLINE FOR PORTFOLIOS ENG 1301/1320

Deadline for portolio submissions as well as paper revisions is Thursday 12/12

• I will be avialable in my office ARHU 268 at 10AM
• Make sure that you have everything completed and submitted by Thursday 12/12

• Please make sure to bring stuff, food, soft drinks, plates, sporks, cups, paper towels, etc...  
• Anything and everything would be greatly appreciated. 
• Make sure you bring your portfolio with your cover letter that day as well

Dead Days

Your graded papers are in my box so if you have time during this dead day week, come pick them up.

• I will be available all week so that you can submit your papers for a grade
• If it is easier for you to submit your papers online, email them to me and I will try to get them to you as soon as possible.
• We will still be meeting next week for the party at 10:35 in our second classroom HSHW 2.110
• Make sure to bring your portfolio's next week

Update 12/3 ENG 1301/1320

I will not be available for office hours today.  Unfortunately I have a major paper due that will require my attention.  If you need to get a hold of me, please email me.


In light of my unavailability today:

• I will be available Thursday 12/5 for our regular class period/s
• I'll have your papers graded so that you can pick them up
• Use this time to get with me 1 on 1 about your revisions
• Make sure that you complete your online course evaluations for my class (Due 12/4)

Office Hours 12/3 & Cover Letter

I will have your Stage 6 Essays graded by 12/3, make sure that you pick them up in my box and revise if necessary. 

• I will have office hours that day from 10am -12pm
• If you need to schedule an appointment please email me
• Make sure to be revising your work
• Make sure that your portfolio is in order

Make sure that you provide a cover letter for your portfolio.  See Stage 6 for more information.

• You can turn this in to me the day of the party
• Bring your portfolio that day as well

Finals Week & Presentations Stage 5

If you did not present a public document for stage 5, you will receive an "F" for this stage.

• Must submit you paper
• Must submit your public document in order to receive any credit

Here is the remaining calendar for the rest of the semester:


11/21            NO CLASS          

• Be working on your stage 6 essay
• Reflective essay 5 pgs.
• Citations if needed
• Pick up your stage 5 essay in my box

11/26           STAGE 6 ESSAY DUE

• Bring in any other drafts that you have completed
• Make sure that you indicate what draft it is, otherwise I will not grade it
